My name is Heather McDonald and I’ve been an art therapist since 2012, after graduating with a Masters degree from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI. In my career as an art therapist, I’ve worked in hospitals, residential settings, day treatment programs, schools, clinics and even in a telehealth setting where I worked with veterans. I’ve also had the joy of teaching students at Marian University who are interested in becoming art therapists. My passion has led me to open Meadowlark Studios, my own private practice. As a registered art therapist, I’m thrilled to bring the healing arts to the Fox Valley where I was born and raised. 

I would love to have the opportunity to guide you through the transformative power of art therapy and support you in your own journey towards mental and emotional well-being. You might even meet my studio dog, Scotchie!
