My name is Heather and I’ve been an art therapist since 2012, after graduating with a Masters degree from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI.

In my career as an art therapist, I’ve worked in hospitals, residential settings, day treatment programs, schools, clinics and even in a Telehealth setting where I worked with veterans. I’ve also had the joy of teaching expressive and therapeutic art classes as well as studio art classes at Marian University.

My passion has led me to open Meadowlark Studios, my own private practice. As a licensed, registered art therapist (ATR-L), I’m honored to bring the healing arts to the Fox Valley where I was born and raised. 

I would love to have the opportunity to guide you through the transformative power of art therapy and support you in your own journey towards mental and emotional well-being. You might even meet my studio dog, Scotchie!
